FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Products & ingredients
How do you make sure your products are good quality?
Four things. Every formula is written by our naturopath, not a marketing team. Where a branded, researched version of an ingredient exists we use it, and we name it on the label at its dose. We don’t use proprietary blends, so you can see exactly how much of everything you’re getting. And every raw material arrives with a certificate of analysis from its supplier before it goes anywhere near a blend.
Are your products tested?
Every raw material comes with a certificate of analysis from its supplier, confirming it is what it says it is and meets our specification before it’s used.
We’re in the process of adding independent testing of the finished product on top of that, and we’ll publish those results on this page when they’re done. We’d rather tell you exactly where we’re up to than claim more than we can show you.
Where do your ingredients come from?
We buy from trusted suppliers around the world on one priority: quality. Many of our raw materials come from North America and Europe, others from the regions that grow them best. Every ingredient is chosen on the evidence behind it, the supplier’s standards, and how consistent it is batch to batch — not on postcode, and not on price.
Where are your products made?
Made in Australia with premium imported ingredients, and packed in Australia.
Why don’t you use proprietary blends?
A proprietary blend lists several ingredients under one combined weight, so you can’t tell how much of each you’re actually getting. It’s usually done to hide an under-dose of the expensive one.
We don’t use them. Every active in a FWD FRM product is named on the label with its own dose, so you can check it against the research yourself.
What is Cell Charge?
Cell Charge™ is a concentrated polyphenolic fulvic mineral complex, extracted in Australia without chemicals. It’s in our Lean Vegan Protein, Daily Super Greens and Natural Pre-Workout at 10 mg per serve — a small amount of trace minerals riding along with the scoop you’re already taking.
Are your supplements vegan, gluten free and dairy free?
Lean Vegan Protein is vegan, gluten free and dairy free. Daily Super Greens, Natural Pre-Workout, Creatine and SALTED Hydration are too.
Our Whey Protein is dairy-based, so it is not vegan or dairy free.
Always read the label on the product you’re buying — it’s the authority, and formulas can change.
Why does it say “may contain milk” if it’s vegan?
Because it’s made on shared equipment. A “may contain” statement isn’t an ingredient — it’s an honest warning that traces of other allergens handled in the same facility could be present.
The recipe is vegan. If you have a diagnosed allergy, that warning is there for you, and you should take it seriously.
Taking them
How do I mix the protein?
One scoop (30 g) into 300 ml of water, milk, or your favourite plant-based milk. Shake well.
Use it post-workout, as a snack, or any time you need a clean protein hit. Less water makes it thicker if that’s your thing.
When’s the best time to take everything?
Daily Super Greens: first thing, on an empty stomach.
Natural Pre-Workout: 20–30 minutes before you train.
Lean Vegan Protein: whenever it fits — after training, as a snack, in your breakfast.
Creatine: any time. Consistency matters far more than timing.
SALTED Hydration: before, during or after training, or any time you need to rehydrate.
Rest Ritual: 30–60 minutes before bed.
The honest answer is that the best time is the one you’ll actually stick to.
Can I take more than one product at a time?
Yes. They’re designed to sit alongside each other — greens in the morning, pre-workout before you train, protein after, hydration through the day.
If you’re taking several, just keep an eye on the total caffeine: only the Natural Pre-Workout contains any, at 150 mg per serve, roughly a strong double shot.
How long before I notice anything?
It depends what you’re taking and what you’re hoping for. Hydration and pre-workout are same-session. Protein is about what you build over weeks of hitting your intake, not a feeling on day one. Greens and creatine are cumulative — give them a consistent month.
We’d rather say that plainly than promise you a transformation in 30 days.
How should I store it?
Below 21°C, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. Keep the lid on properly — these powders pull in moisture, which is what makes them clump.
Not in the car, and not on the windowsill above the kettle.
Can I take it after the best-before date?
We don’t recommend it. Past that date we can’t stand behind the potency or the taste, even if it looks fine.
Safety & suitability
Can I take this if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
Our protein carries a mandatory label warning: not suitable for children under 15 years or pregnant women, and should only be used under medical or dietetic supervision.
If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or planning to be, talk to your GP, midwife or an Accredited Practising Dietitian before taking any supplement, ours included. Every pregnancy and postpartum is different, and they can tell you what’s right for you. We can’t, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
Is this suitable for teenagers?
Our protein is labelled as not suitable for children under 15 years.
If you’re considering a supplement for someone under 15, speak to a GP or an Accredited Practising Dietitian first. For most teenagers, food does the job.
I take medication or have a health condition — is it safe?
We’re not able to give you medical advice, and anyone who tells you otherwise over the internet is guessing.
Take the ingredient list to your GP or pharmacist. It’s all on the product page and on the tub, with every dose listed, so they have everything they need to give you a straight answer.
What are the allergen warnings?
Our Lean Vegan Protein carries a may-contain warning for milk, fish, gluten, peanut, tree nuts, egg, sulphites, soy and seeds.
Each product’s full allergen statement is in the Ingredients & Nutrition section on its own page.
Orders & shipping
When will my order ship?
Within 2 business days, unless you’ve chosen Priority Express at checkout, in which case we move faster.
How much is shipping?
Free on Australian orders of $120 and over.
Under $120 it’s a flat $10 standard, or $15 express.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — a flat $30 to anywhere we ship, dispatched on the same 2 business day timeline. Any duties or taxes at the other end are the customer’s.
My tracking says delivered but nothing’s here.
Once an order leaves our warehouse it’s with Australia Post, so they’re the fastest way to find it — start with them, quoting your tracking number.
Check with anyone else at the address and any safe-drop spot first. If you’re still stuck, email us at info@fwdfrm.com and we’ll help you chase it.
We can’t be liable for parcels marked delivered and left unattended, so if you’re not usually home, pick an address where it can be left safely.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Email info@fwdfrm.com straight away and we’ll do what we can. Once it’s packed and scanned we can’t pull it back.
If an order comes back to us because the address was wrong, re-shipping is at the customer’s cost.
Returns & refunds
What if I don’t like the flavour?
We have a 30 Day Money Back Promise on flavoured supplements. If it’s not for you, tell us within 30 days and you choose: a full refund, or 110% of what you paid as store credit.
So a $69.95 tub comes back as $76.95 to spend on a flavour you’ll like better. Most people take the credit, but the refund is genuinely there if you’d rather have your money back.
It applies to first-time purchases, one flavour per product, one unit per customer, and the product needs to be at least 75% full. It sits on top of your rights under Australian Consumer Law, it doesn’t replace them. Read the full promise.
My order arrived faulty, damaged or wrong.
Email info@fwdfrm.com within 14 days with a photo and we’ll replace it or refund you. We cover return shipping when the fault is ours.
Can I return clothing or accessories if I change my mind?
Yes, for a store credit — not a refund. Get in touch within 14 days of purchase and send it back unworn, unwashed, undamaged and with its tags still on.
Sale and promotional items aren’t eligible. Return postage is at your cost, and please keep your tracking.
Can I return a supplement if I change my mind?
Not for a refund — that covers change of mind, picking the wrong flavour, or an ordering mistake. If it’s a flavour you didn’t love, the 30 Day Money Back Promise above is the one you want.
Outside that promise, we may offer a store credit at our discretion if the product is unopened, unused and in its original packaging — for hygiene and safety reasons we can’t take an opened tub back for a plain change of mind.
Does the 30 Day Money Back Promise cover clothing and accessories?
No — that one is for flavoured supplements only. Clothing and accessories have 14 days from purchase for a store credit instead, as above.
I bought it on sale — can I return it?
Items bought on sale or as part of a promotion aren’t eligible for a refund or store credit. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law for a faulty item still apply, sale or not.
Subscriptions
How do subscriptions work?
Subscribe and you’ll save 30% on your first order, then 20% on every one after.
Pick how often you’d like it delivered — every month, every two months or every three — and it arrives on repeat, so you don’t run out mid-week and fall off your routine.
You can skip, reschedule, change flavour or cancel from your account at any time.
What’s in the free welcome kit?
Your first subscription order arrives with a hand mixer and a stainless steel bottle, free — $75 worth, on us.
It only comes with your first delivery, and it’s yours to keep whatever you decide to do afterwards.
Do I get free shipping on a subscription?
Shipping works the same as any other order: free on Australian orders of $120 and over, a flat $10 standard under that.
Subscribing to two products usually gets you over the line.
Can I change how often it arrives?
Yes. Log in to your account and switch between monthly, two-monthly or three-monthly whenever you like.
If you’ve got more than you can get through, slowing it down is usually better than cancelling.
How do I skip or cancel a delivery?
Log in to your account and manage it there — skip, push the date back, swap the flavour or cancel outright.
Do it before your next charge date. If you’re stuck, email info@fwdfrm.com and we’ll sort it for you.
Can I change the flavour on a subscription?
Yes, from your account, any time before the next charge.
Still stuck? Email us at info@fwdfrm.com and a real person will get back to you.
